A garden makes everything better.
You want yours to be beautiful and productive but don’t want to waste time and money figuring out how.
I’m here to help.
“I wonder if much that ails our society stems from the fact that we have allowed ourselves to be cut off from that love of, and from, the land. It is medicine for broken land and empty hearts.”

Garden Consult
After booking a consultation we’ll meet in your space for a 60 minute session to chat about what you’re working with and what you’d like to work on.
I’ll learn from you how you want to use this space along with what challenges you have. We’ll think about who and how you’ll be using the garden to make the most of your investment.
In about a week you will get a follow up with recommendations for moving forward. I can help with a plan for DIY or an estimate to hire me for installation.

Installations
There are two ways to get growing!
Turn Key Installation: Love your customized plan but want someone else to do the install? Trust me to take care of all of the sourcing of materials, labor of installation and filling your beds with quality soil. I’ll include a planting plan and hands on tips for how to keep your garden growing.
DIY: Looking to get your hands dirty? I’ll provide a plan for success and you do the work. I include recommendations of plants, bed materials and sourcing, garden soil recipe, irrigation requirements and anything else included in your customized plan.
Cost for installations are based on size and scope of the project, price per sq ft.
Meet Ayschia
Growing up I spent endless days tagging along with my grandparents who grew a kitchen garden on their land in Northeast Oklahoma. We’d document the tallest sunflowers and plant cucumbers all in rows. Summer’s were spent savoring flavors at their peak and canning the surplus for colder days ahead, like jars of green beans pried open for a Thanksgiving feast.
Other summers would take me to the other side of the world to visit my dad’s family who lived in Damascus, Syria. While there was no soil for row crops or green pastures, I saw the determination of a people to grow plants wherever and however they could. In pots overflowing on hundred year old balconies and grapevines, abundant, covering verandas for shade from the harsh sun. The fruit a roulette of sweet or sour, and the leaves harvested for traditional dishes.
In 2010 I took my experience in the garden, along with community organizing, to a help launch Global Gardens, a non-profit working with low-income schools and communities to teach science and peace education through the garden, and empower people to grow their own food right where they are. For more than a decade I saw firsthand how the garden is a leveling field. With our hands in the dirt we are all scientists and dreamers, planting seeds of what is possible.
Now I want to help bring the garden to your home, business or community space. I know with responsibilities of families and work the garden can feel overwhelming. You want the calm and connection a garden can give you, but don’t want to waste time and money figuring out how to get it going. The good news is most of success is in the set up! I know the joy of stepping out the door to harvest something you grew and I want to make it easy for you to do the same - whether it’s starting from scratch or troubleshooting your existing garden I’d love to work with you.
